  • Network discovery
  • File and printer sharing
  • Public folder sharing
  • Password protected sharing

Control Panel

Network and Sharing Center
, and then click
Change advanced sharing settings
.
  1. Turn on Network discovery.
  2. Turn on file and printer sharing.
  3. Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write files in the Public folders.
  4. Turn on password-protected sharing.
You must verify whether the network share machine's Windows Firewall is turned ON or OFF.
If turned
