Lexmark Forms Printer 258x or 259x Reinitializes when Connected Over the Network

What you will see
When a network cable is plugged into the printer's Ethernet port, the printhead toggles back and forth and the top of form (T.O.F) registration process is activated.
Explanation
The internal USB connection to the network adapter initiates this behavior.
NOTE:
 This is functioning as designed and poses no risk to existing configuration settings on the device.

) by typing its
IP address
 on a web browser.

" from the menu tabs found on the left side of the page.

Network/Ports

SNMP
" on the next page.

Untick the boxes for "
Enabled
" and "
SNMP Set Enabled
", then click "
Submit
."
