mono pick tires (40X4308)
are contaminated with
mold release oil.
New tires right out of the
package will not feed paper.
Solution
Clean the pick tires with
alcohol and scrub them
with a paper towel to remove the oil.
Do not use the old ground
pick tires (40X0070) in the
T64x and T65x printers.
They are more likely to cause
multifeeds/paper jams and
they only last about 100K pages.
The 40X4308 tires are
designed to last the
entire life of the printer. |
