Finisher Staple Positions for the Lexmark C792, X792, C950, X95x, MS81x and MX81x Series Printers

What you will see

When printing landscape, the finisher only staples pages in the upper right or lower left-hand corners. When printing in portrait mode, however, the finisher appears to staple the upper left-hand corner as expected.

Suggested Remedy

To allow staple placement in the upper left corner, perform the following:

• Enable Reverse page order, Rotate 180 and Print on both sides.
• If you are using Adobe products or any application generating its own PostScript print file, you may need to turn on Generate PostScript in driver so that "Reverse Page Order" will work.

NOTE: The staple will be inserted from the back of the document to the front.

Explanation

The simple finisher available for the X792 does not allow for an upper left staple position in landscape mode. Both UPD 2.0 and the x792 driver are functioning as designed.
