This Readme file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK ECO-COPY application for multifunction printers (MFPs).
Lexmark Eco-Copy is an embedded solution that can be installed on multifunction printers (MFPs) that support the Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework (eSF) v1.2, v2.0, or v3.0. Eco-Copy enables administrators to configure a single Eco-Copy button on the MFP home screen with default paper- and toner-saver settings. If allowed by the administrator, MFP users scan configure the darkness, duplex, paper saver, and color/mono settings for their Eco-Copy application.
Requirements
Any single or multifunction printer that supports eSF v1.2, v2.0, and v3.0 applications.

MFP device memory requirements: A minimum of 256 MB RAM.
Single function printers (SFPs): A minimum of 256 MB RAM.
This application requires an electronic license. To obtain a license, go to www.lexmark.com and click the "Contact Lexmark" link at the bottom of the screen.

eSF 3.0 Device Support.
Limitations and compatibility of the release
The "Test" button on the administration screen is not active.
Because color printing is not supported on mono MFPs, the color/mono setting is not displayed on the MFP operator panel. However, unsupported color-related settings are still displayed on the MFP's configuration Web page.
For eSF v3.0 MFPs, the application cannot be configured using MarkVision Professional (MVP).
