Checking the printer connectivity

Follow these steps to check if the printer is connected to a network.
  1. Print the
    Network Setup Page
    report. From the control panel, navigate to
    Settings
    Reports
    Network
    Network Setup Page
    .
  2. In the
    Network Overview
    section, check if
    Card Status
    is connected.
    If the status is not connected, then the LAN drop may be inactive or the network cable may be malfunctioning. Contact your administrator for assistance.
