Using the booklet finisher
Learn how to use the booklet finisher on your printer to create a booklet from printed or copied materials.
Before creating a booklet, load paper with the short edge toward the right side of the tray.
Creating a booklet using the print driver
For Windows users
- With a document open, clickFile>Print.Select a printer, and then clickProperties,Preferences,Options, orSetup.SelectBooklet.Click thePaper/Finishingtab, and then configure the paper settings.In theFoldmenu, select a setting.ClickOK, and then clickPrint.For Macintosh users
- With a document open, clickFile>Print.Select a printer.From theFinishing Optionsmenu, selectApply Finishings>Printer Options.SelectBooklet, and then select aFoldsetting.ClickOK.Creating a booklet using the control panel
- Load an original document into the ADF tray or on the scanner glass.To avoid a cropped image, make sure that the original document and output have the same paper size.From the control panel, selectCopy, and then configure the settings.SelectMore Settings, and then selectCreate Booklet.EnableBooklet Finishing, and then select a setting.Copy the document.
