Black Only Mode Enabled

Issue description

The
Black Only
mode forces printer to print black and white only. The printer won't print in color for internal pages as well such as Print Quality Test Pages.

Solution

Ways to check if Black Only is enabled
  1. Navigate to
    Settings
    Print
    Quality
    Print Mode
    . Check whether it is set to "
    Black and White
    " then change it to "
    Color
    ".
  2. Navigate to
    Settings
    Device
    Maintenance
    Configuration Menu
    Print Configuration
    Black Only Mode
    . Check whether it is set to "
    Black and White
    " then change it to "
    Color
    ". Make sure this option is unchecked.
  3. Here ae two options for checking if color print option is enabled:
    • EWS:
      Navigate to
      Settings
      Security
      Login Methods
      Public
      Manage Permissions
      Function Access
      Color Print
      . Make sure this option is selected.
    • Printer home screen:
      Navigate to
      Settings
      Security
      Login Methods
      Manage Permissions
      Function Access
      Color Print
      . Make sure this option is selected.
If all options above are set to color but printer won't print in Color, contact
Lexmark Support
for further assistance.
