Erasing printer storage drive
Erase data on your printer hard disk or intelligent storage drive for more storage capacity.
- From the control panel, navigate to .Depending on the storage drive that is installed on your printer, do either of the following:
- For hard disk, selectSanitize all information on hard disk, selectERASE, and then select a method to erase data.The process to sanitize the hard disk can take from several minutes to more than an hour, making the printer unavailable for other tasks.
- For intelligent storage drive, selectErase Intelligent Storage Drive, and then selectERASE.
