Updating the firmware using the control panel

Using the Notifications center

These instructions apply only to some printer models.
  1. From the home screen, tap the notification icon to go to the Notifications center.
  2. Select
    Firmware update available
    .
  3. Select
    Install now
    .
The printer restarts automatically after the update.

Using the
Settings
 menu

  1. From the control panel, navigate to
    Settings
    Device
    .
  2. Depending on your printer model, do either of the following:
    • Select
      Firmware Update
      Check for updates
      .
    • Select
      Update firmware
      Check for updates now
      .
  3. If an update is available, then select
    Install now
    .
The printer restarts automatically after the update.
