Replacing the waste toner bottle

Prevent excess toner powder from falling freely into the printer. Change the waste toner bottle when it is full.
  1. Open door B.
  2. Open door A.
    The inside of the printer might be hot. To reduce the risk of injury from a hot component, allow the surface to cool before touching it.
  3. Remove the right cover.
  4. Remove the used waste toner bottle.
    To avoid spilling the toner, place the bottle in an upright position.
  5. Unpack the new waste toner bottle.
  6. Insert the new waste toner bottle until it
    clicks
     into place.
  7. Attach the right cover until it
    clicks
     into place.
  8. Close door A, and then close door B.
