Cannot scan to a computer
Are your unable to scan documents and save them in your computer? Follow these troubleshooting steps.
- Perform a copy job.Is the copy job successful?
- Yes:Go to step 3.
- No:Go to the next step.
Perform the following tests:- Turn off the printer, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.Scan the document.Can you scan the document to a computer?
- Yes:The problem is solved.
- No:Go to the next step.
- Perform the following tests:
- Print the Network Setup Page. From the home screen, touchSettings>Reports>Network>Network Setup Page.Check the network status.Is the printer connected to the network?
- Yes:Go to step 5.
- No:Go to the next step.
- Perform the following tests:
- Connect the printer to the network.Scan the document.Can you scan the document to a computer?
- Yes:The problem is solved.
- No:Go to the next step.
- Perform the following tests:
- Make sure that the printer and the computer are connected to the same network.Scan the document.Can you scan the document to a computer?
- Yes:The problem is solved.
- No:Contact customer support.
