Scanning to an FTP server

Follow these steps to scan a document directly to a file transfer protocol server.
Before you begin, make sure that the printer is connected to an FTP server.
  1. Load an original document into the ADF tray or on the scanner glass. For more information, see Using the automatic document feeder and scanner glass.
  2. From the control panel, navigate to
    Scan
    FTP
    .
  3. Enter the needed information, and then select
    Next
    .
    If necessary, configure the FTP settings.
  4. Scan the document.
