Toner dust or toner particle contamination is found outside the toner cartridge.
This issue can affect any of the colors or even multiple colors at once.
Possible cause
- The printer is stationed in warm environments.
- Heavy usage of the printer can cause this issue.
Solution
Wipe the toner dust or contamination from the toner cartridge with a damp cloth.
- Heavy amounts of toner contamination require assistance from a service technician to replace a developer unit or an imaging kit.
- Minor amounts of toner dust or contamination are normal anddoes not impact printer function.
