MFD
(multi-function device) print and copy usage data can be tracked using job accounting
. The following
job accounting
statistics are viewable through the embedded web server (EWS) under Reports

N - Up | Multi-up images per side (e.g. 1,3,5) |
Pages | Total number of pages pulled from tray |
Sides | Total number of printed (duplexed) sides |
Toner Darkness | Physical, or software driver setting for toner darkness |

From the user interface (UI):

6 | Toggle back and forth between ON and OFF. |
7 | Press Submit . Wait a moment while the machine reboots.* |

A reboot takes between 30 seconds and 3 minutes depending on multiple variables. From the embedded web server (EWS):

Job Accounting limitation
Feature | Explanation |

3MB Log capacity | MFD stops writing to the Job Accounting Statistics log on ce a capacity of 3MB is reached. To clear a job accounting log (UI): Menus-->Settings-->Print Settings-->Utilities Menu-->Job Acct Stat--> Clear . |
Advanced Job Accounting available
If additional job accounting abilities are required for billing purposes, or you wish to have a more comprehensive account of device activity, you should consider LeDAS (Lexmark Embedded Document Accounting Solution), or LDAS (Lexmark Document Accounting Solution)
