How to Make `Auto Size? as the Default Copy Setting of a Lexmark X73x MFP

Overview

This article describes the step-by-step process of how to default the Copy
settings of a Lexmark X73x MFP
into Auto Size
. You can do this by two methods:

• Using the printer's Web Page • Through the printer’s Operator Panel

Procedure

NOTE:

Step	Action
1	Type the printer’s IP Address on your browser’s address bar. To know your printer’s IP Address: • Look it up on the printer’s Operator Panel • Print the Network Settings Page
2	On the printer’s web page, click on Settings.
3	Click Copy Settings.
4	Change the value of Original Size to Auto Size Sense.
5	Change the Copy To Source value to Auto Size Match.
6	After changing the values, scroll down the page and click the Submit button.

Step	Action
1	On the printers Operator Panel, press the Menu Button .
2	Press next to Settings.
3	Press next to Copy Settings.
4	Press to scroll down and look for Original Size and Copy To Source . Change its values to the following: • Original Size – Auto Size Sense • Copy To Source – Auto Size Match
5	After changing the values, press the Submit button.
