What you will see
When copying using the Flatbed glass or Auto Document Feeder (ADF), the resulting pages may look like any of the following:

Possible cause
This issue happens when the scanner does not see the markings/calibration points on the flatbed, hence seeing everything on the page as black/blue and not able to capture the image correctly.
Issue Verification
If you are getting any of the sample pages presented above when copying, verify the rest of the symptoms by:
- DoingMonoCopies: SelectColor OFF– The output should be similar with theBlackimage above.
- DoingColorCopies: SelectColor ON– The output should be similar with theBluishorGreenishimages above.
- Print theMenu Settings Pageof the Printer. To do this, navigate through:Menu>Reports>Menu Settings Page.NOTE:If the issue happens only when “copying”, the result of printing theMenu Settings Pageshould be okay.
Save the sample copied pages and the
Menu Settings Page
