Overview
This Readme file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK SCAN TO SHAREPOINT application.
Lexmark Scan to SharePoint is an embedded solution that can be installed on multifunction printers (MFPs) that support the Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework (eSF) v1.2, v2.0, or v3.0. Scan to SharePoint enables users to scan documents to sites housed on SharePoint servers. It also allows site navigation, folder creation, and printing of documents saved on SharePoint sites from the MFP.
Requirements
  1. Any single or multifunction printer that supports eSF v1.2, v2.0, and v3.0 applications.

New Features
  • Scan to SharePoint now supports Smart Card authentication for eSF v2.0 MFPs.
  • Pictures can now be scanned to a library.
  • Site navigation now supports hiding files.
Limitations and compatibility of the release
  1. Calculated columns are not supported.
  2. Printing secure PDF files is not supported.
  3. The license installation may fail, resulting in an error message on the MFP configuration Web page; if this occurs, uninstall Scan to SharePoint and install it again.
  4. For eSF v3.0 MFPs, the application cannot be configured using MarkVision Professional (MVP).
  5. If the MFP does not have a hard disk installed, the application cannot be used to scan data greater than 20MB in size.
