Issue description

The output printout is blank.

NOTES:
  • Blank pages can sometimes occur when the printer picks more than one page at a time.
  • The recommendations listed below are to correct continuous blank pages.
Recommended troubleshooting
  1. Clear the paper path of any media, staples, or obstructions. (Sticky notes or labels can block the laser path.)
  2. Try printing on recommended media that is dry and fresh out of a ream.
  3. Check the toner level. Replace the
    print cartridge
    if the toner is low.
  4. Check the
    transfer roll
    assembly for contamination and wear. Replace the
    transfer roll
    , if needed.
  5. Check the left and right-hand transfer roll brackets. Replace them if damaged.
  6. The cartridge may be empty. Try printing with a different cartridge if one is available.
  7. Check metal contacts between the cartridge and printer. Click here to see a picture of good contacts.
  8. If blank pages persist, contact
    Lexmark Technical Support
    to set up service for the printer.
