Re-enable the
Fax
Auto Convert Color Faxes to Mono Faxes
setting.To do this:
- Access the MFP embedded web server or configuration page;e.g.,http://MFP_IP_address, where MFP_IP_address is the address of the device.
- Click onSettings.
- Click onFax Settings.
- Click onAnalog Fax Setup.
- UnderFax Send Settings, place a check mark next toAuto Convert Color Faxes to Mono Faxes.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and clickSubmit.
- Attempt to resend the fax.

Explanation
A recipient fax machine that does not support color faxes, and a disabled MFP setting which overrides this disability, prevent a successful fax transmittal.
