Large file sizes when Performing any scan feature using an ADF or Flatbed

Overview

When scanning multiple pages through the
Auto-Document Feeder
(
ADF
) or
Flatbed
, it produces an output with a
large file size
(e.g., scanning ten pages will produce 8,000kb which is too large).
This happens when using
any
of the scan features; i.e.,
Scan to Email
,
Scan to FTP
, or
Scan to Thumb Drive
.

Solution
