Suggested Remedy
Mac Binary PS
should be enabled on the recipient printer or MFP in order for Remote Copy to work properly. You can choose to either set it to "
On
" or "
Auto
" as both will work.
To do this, two
locations/methods
exist to make this setting change.
Method 1:
Embedded Web Server(EWS) via
Settings(Configuration) > Network/Ports > Standard Network
.
  1. Click on
    Settings
    .
  2. Click on
    Network/Ports
    .
  3. Clickon
    Scan to Network
    .
  4. Next to
    Mac Binary PS
    , click on the down-arrow to select
    Auto
    or
    On
    .
  5. Click
    Submit
    .
Method 2:
MFP Control Panel via
Menus > Network/Ports / Standard Network
.
  1. Press the
    Menus
    button in lower right-hand corner of control panel.
  2. Select
    Network/Ports
    .
  3. Select
    Standard Network
    .
  4. Scroll down until you see
    Mac Binary PS
    .
  5. Select
    Auto
    or
    On
    .
  6. Select
    Submit
    .
