Issue description
The printer's control panel displays one of the following error codes: 31.60, 31.61, 31.62, 31.63, 31.64, 31.65, or 31.66, indicating an imaging unit issue.
Solution
- Check if the Toner Cartridge and Imaging Unit are Genuine Lexmark Supplies
- Use the Check to Protect Tool to verify the serial numbers.
- If the toner cartridge or imaging unit is non-genuine (third-party), replace it with a Lexmark Genuine supply.
- Reinstall the Toner Cartridge and Imaging Unit
- Power off the printer.
- Remove both the toner cartridge and imaging unit.
- Reinsert them carefully, ensuring they are properly seated.
