The printer's control panel displays one of the following error codes: 31.60, 31.61, 31.62, 31.63, 31.64, 31.65, or 31.66, indicating an imaging unit issue.

Solution

  1. Check if the Toner Cartridge and Imaging Unit are Genuine Lexmark Supplies
    • Use the Check to Protect Tool to verify the serial numbers.
    • If the toner cartridge or imaging unit is non-genuine (third-party), replace it with a Lexmark Genuine supply.
  2. Reinstall the Toner Cartridge and Imaging Unit
    1. Power off the printer.
    2. Remove both the toner cartridge and imaging unit.
    3. Reinsert them carefully, ensuring they are properly seated.
  3. Verify the Printer’s Date and Time Settings
