Overview:
The Display Customization app enables users to customize an MFP screen with custom images that can be displayed as a slide show, displayed as wallpaper or used as a screensaver.
Features:
Screen Saver
When enabled, image(s) will be displayed while the device is idle. If security is applied on Screen Saver, user will be prompted to authenticate first before homescreen can be accessed.- Upload images to use as screen saver.
- Use images from flash drive as screen saver.
- Specify a default interval for all images.
- Specify an interval to apply on a specific uploaded image.
- Display time, custom text and device status on screen saver.
- Quick access (only compatible with Card Authentication as of Nov 2015)
Slideshow
When enabled, users can launch this from homescreen to start a slide show of custom images.- Upload images to display in slide show.
- Use images from flash drive as screen saver.
- Specify a default interval for all images.
- Specify an interval to apply on a specific uploaded image.
- Enable loop.
Wallpaper
When enabled, users can launch this from homescreen to change the eTask wallpaper.- Choose a wallpaper from images that come with the app.
- Upload a custom image.
Supported Devices:
Any Lexmark device that supports
eSF v5.0
applications with a minimum 256 MB
of memory and the required level of firmware appropriate for that device.- CS820 (YK.02.041 or later)*
- CX820 (PP.02.041a or later)
- CX825 (L), CX860 (H) (PP.02.041a or later)
- CS725 (CB.02.042 or later)*
- CX725 (ATL.02.015 or later)

No Images available when memory is full:

Time display not showing on Background and Idle Screen:

Screen Saver Intermittently Freezes on the last Image Displayed:

Screen saver intermittently sticks on the last picture displayed before disabling the flash drive option.Steps to Reproduce | Actual Results | Explanation/Recommendations |

| - The image seems to freeze and cannot proceed to the next image. - The issue is intermittent since it will proceed with displaying the loaded images on EWS and not on the flash-drive. | The transition from USB to stored images was not handled accordingly. Device Security is not functioning under ‘Change Wallpaper’ app:

| No padlock icon for Change Wallpaper is shown but unlike the rest of the apps, it is able to launch the Change Wallpaper app without asking for security authentication. | There were some inconsistencies on the data that we returned. This data did not match what the pluggablefac.xml was expecting. That's why it wasn't able to recognize the configuration set. Recommendation: Please contact Lexmark Technical Support. |
Image applied is beyond printer specification size:

| Image was successfully added to ‘Screen Saver and Slideshow Images’ list and displayed in OP Panel. | Starting MOJA, administrator can now upload images beyond 800x480 and the device can display them successfully (unlike in Home Stretch and Winner Circle). We will be updating the ReadMe for EC1 to reflect that the resolution is just a recommendation and that administrator can still upload higher-resolution images and does not exceed 64KB file size. |
Multiple images can be added with same file name:
