1
If a finisher is installed, examine its paper path (especially around the output area and rollers) for debris or pieces of paper, especially so when the error only appeared after a jam was cleared.
2
If applicable, test the Stapler Finisher in question on a working printer of the same model to isolate the issue. Should issue persist, proceed to Step 3 .
3
Replace the Bin Full Sensor (40X8131 ).Note: After replacing the Bin Full Sensor, make sure to update the printer’s firmware with the latest level to prevent the message from re-occurring. Should error persist however, proceed with Step 4 .
4
Replace the Bin Full Receive Sensor (40X8132 ). See Step 5 if issue persists.
5
Replace the Stapler Finisher Controller Card (40X8137 - The following parts are usually not the primary cause of this error - DO NOT recommend for first repair call.).Note: Escalate to your next level of support for further recommendation should issue continue to persist.
