Solution Composer workflows with TIFF file format set to JPEG compression (with Deskew/Despeckle enabled) produce TIFF with LZW compression

Issue description

Workflows created using Solution Composer 3.x generate TIFF files that do not use JPEG compression with the following Scan Settings:

File Format: TIFF

TIFF Compression: JPEG

Image Processing > Advanced Imaging: Deskew and Despeckle

This can be verified, for example, by using GIMP: Image > Metadata > View Metadata, where it shows that “Exif.Image.Compression” is LZW instead of JPEG.

Issue is not reproduceable if Deskew and Despeckle are disabled.

Solution

None. This is a known limitation which will be addressed in a future version of the app.
