The browser always uses the last settings used by the user.

Explanation:

This issue is FAD
or functioning as designed
due to a limitation with Google Chrome.

As of version 8

, it does not offer a way for extensions to default to a particular value each time the user prints. Chrome remembers the user's previous selection and shows that previous user-selected value, irrespective of the extension's default.
