Scan to Network App Does Not Prompt Nor Complete the Scan when Using an Existing File Name

You scan to a folder using an
existing file name
with the following settings:
  • "Append time stamp" is
    disabled
    .
  • "Over-write existing file" is
    disabled
    .
  • "Allow user to enter file name" is
    enabled
    .
The Scan to Network (
SNF
) app version
4.8.5
does
not
prompt that the name already exists. Moreover, it will
not
proceed with the scan and goes back to the home screen.
NOTE:
The previous SNF app versions display this Scan failed prompt when scanning to a destination containing the same file name.
Recommended solution
Update the SNF app to
PE release version 4.8.5.10
or
higher
.
