This document includes instructions in performing a transfer adjust through the paper settings to prevent/resolve a
print quality defect when using resistance paper
.
Solutions:
  1. Perform a
    Color Adjust
    from the control panel by navigating to:
Settings
>
Print
>
Quality
>
Advanced Imaging
>
Color Adjust
and then print a test page.
  1. If the issue persists, go to the control panel and navigate to:
Settings
>
Paper
>
Tray Configuration
>
Paper Size
>
Type
>
Tray 1
>
Tray 1 Type
then select
Rough/Cotton
Perform a test print and check if the issue persists.
  1. Should the print quality defect still appear, change the Paper Type from the control panel by navigating to:
Settings
>
Paper
>
Tray Configuration
>
Paper Size
>
Type
>
Tray 1
>
Tray 1 Type
then select
Heavy
Perform another test print and check if the print quality has improved.
