Lexmark CX/CS33x_43x and MC/C3xxx: How to Adjust Line Widths

Multifunction: CX331, CX431, MC3224, MC3326, MC3426, MC3224i, MC3326i, MC3426i

Overview:

This document includes instructions on adjusting fine line widths that are too thin or too thick.

Solutions:

Perform a Color Adjust. From the control panel, navigate to: Settings
> Print
> Quality
> Advanced Imaging
> Color Adjust
; and print the document.

Depending on your operating system, increase toner darkness
( lines too thin

) or decrease toner darkness
( lines too thick

) from the Printing Preferences or Print dialog.
Note:
You can also change the setting on the printer control panel. Navigate to: Settings
> Print
> Quality
> Toner Darkness
; Either increase or decrease value.

Turn off Color Saver. From the control panel, navigate to: Settings
> Print
> Quality
> Color Saver
and then print the document.
