Issue description

An error code on the control panel reports that the cartridge is missing, unresponsive, or unsupported.

Solution

Remove the toner cartridge and imaging kit.

WARNING
– Potential Damage: Do not expose the imaging kit to direct light for more than 10 minutes. Extended light exposure may cause print quality issues. Also, do not touch the green photoconductor drum. Doing so may affect the quality of future print jobs.

Check whether the installed toner cartridge is genuine. If not, then replace it with a genuine one.

Check the toner cartridge for contamination.

Insert the toner cartridge and imaging kit.

If the issue persists, contact customer support.
