Who's this for?
Administrators moving a server that hosts LDD and LPM to a different TCP/IP address will require the Server IP address be changed. This is applicable to configurations where all LDD and LPM components reside on one server.
Before you begin
Changing the server IP address

Open your command prompt as administrator.

Navigate to the InstallHelper directory folder; i.e., C:\Program Files\Lexmark\Solutions\InstallHelper. Use the cd command to get to this folder.

Run one of these commands based on your use-case scenario:
| If using... | Then enter... |
| LDD and solutions other than Print Release | update-addr.bat -ip <address>, where you replace <address> with the new IP address of the newly designated server. |
| LDD and Print Release | lpm-update-address.bat -ip <address>" where you replace <address> with the new IP address of the newly designated server. |
It may take up to five minutes for the system to come back into service.

You will need to run a policy updateon alldevice groups following this procedure to ensure a printer's profiles take the new server IP address. For updating enterprise installations, it is recommended to contact TSC or the technical project manager for assistance.
