Windows 10 drivers may
not
be immediately available. In the meantime, you may use
Windows 8
or
8.1
driver packages for Windows 10 supported printers.

Installing print driver using a script

The following sequence of procedures is summarized in the video below:
  1. Extract the files to a temporary folder.
  2. Accept the License Agreement.
  3. Remove the check mark next to "
    Launch the Add Printer Wizard after extraction completes
    ".
  4. Locate LMUD1p40
    Setup Information file (.inf)

    File Explorer

    Local Disk (C:)

    >

    Drivers
    >
    Print
    >
    GDI
    You need both the path and setup .inf file name.
  5. Open a Command Prompt (Run as administrator).
  6. If the respective port name is not present, then create a Port, either from
    Print Server Properties

    Ports Tab
    or using Microsoft provided prnport.vbs script.
