Overview:

The words/menus on the printer's operator panel are not in the required language. 

NOTE: The printed output will still be in the correct language.

How to Change the Display Language:

Follow the steps in the table below to change the language displayed on the printer operator panel.

1. Press the  Menu button six times.
    
2. Press the  button once.
    
3. Press the  Menu button eleven times.
    
4. Press the  button once.
    
5. You are now at the point in the menus where you can select the language to be displayed on the operator panel.
   
   
   • Press the  or  Menu button to scroll through the list of available languages.  NOTE: Each language that can be selected will be displayed in that language, e.g. the English language option will be listed as English, the French language option will be listed as Français, and the Spanish language option will be listed as Español.
     
     
   • When you see the language you are looking for, press  once.
     
     IMPORTANT! If you cannot find the language you need, you are probably in the wrong part of the menu. Press the  button four times to bring the printer back to the ready state. Repeat the directions in this table again from the beginning. If you continue to have problems finding the required display language after two attempts, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance. 
     
     
6. If you are in the correct menu, the language on the operator panel will change immediately after you press the  button. If it does, press the  button until the printer is back at the Ready state. 
   
   IMPORTANT! If the printer language does not change after you press , press  four times to bring the printer back to the ready state. Repeat the steps in this table again from the beginning. If you continue to have problems changing the display language after two attempts, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance.
