What you will see
When you print certain documents, either:
- No printing occurs, or
- Not all pages of a multipage print job are printed.
- Printer is shared, and while using the shared connection there is no printing (or not all the pages are printed) of a multipage document.
On some Vista PCs the security rights on the %windir%\temp directory has been changed from the normal settings, leading to the above symptoms.
What to do
To find out if this is the issue you are experiencing, follow the steps in the table.
Step Action Link 1 Download the print failure test and try to print it.
- If both pages print, this is not the issue you are experiencing. Proceed to 'Contacting Lexmark' below.
- If only one page of the test document prints, go to Step 2.
