The Lexmark Service Center (LSC) is a tool that can help you diagnose a problem with your printer. It provides step-by-step troubleshooting advice and contains links to printer maintenance tasks and customer support.
NOTE: Currently the LSC is only supported on the Windows platform.

you want to access the LSC
go to Start > Programs > Lexmark Xxxx Series > Lexmark Service Center.
A dialog will prompt you to download the Service Center from the web. This is a fast download and the LSC program will launch promptly.
you encounter an error message in our software
click on the blue text in the message to launch the LSC. The LSC will go directly to the most appropriate question/answer for the situation.

Navigation - Back: When enabled, this button takes you backwards one question/answer, much like a back button in an Internet browser. ... Navigation - Forward: When enabled, this button takes you forwards one question/answer, much like a forward button in an Internet browser. ... Navigation - Home: This button takes you to the main Service Center screen. It functions much like a Home button in an Internet browser. Image Printer Maintenance: This button allows quick access to functions such as printing a test page and cleaning, aligning, or installing print cartridges. Image View Log: This button displays an HTML page with all Service Center activity for the past seven days. It displays every question and answer with a time and date stamp for each Service Center session. Image Check for Updates: The Service Center may be updated on the web at any time for improved content. When the Service Center is opened from the program group (but not from an error message), it will check to see if 30 days have elapsed since the last time it was used. If so, you will be prompted to update it. This button will also check the Lexmark web site to see if an update is available and offer it to you for installation.
