Lexmark Management Console Status Bar Is Not Updating with the Correct Values

Solution

Overview


After upgrading to Lexmark Document Distributor (LDD) 5.0 and accessing the Lexmark Management Console (LMC), the administrator may find that all the values in the status bar are all in zeroes (see the bar outlined in red in the image below).  

The LMC status bar shows the number of devices that are licensed, unlicensed, missing and out of policy. NOTE: The actual number of devices with the particular status can be viewed in their respective tabs.

 

 

 

 

Solution


Updating the web browser (e.g. Google Chrome or Internet Explorer) to the latest version will fix the issue. NOTE: Although no report of this issue has involved the Mozilla Firefox browser, Lexmark still advises you to use its latest version.

This issue has been found to appear on the following web browser versions known to cause the behavior:

  • Google Chrome 46.0.2490.86
     
  • Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.16663 (Update version 11.0.8)
