Lexmark C935 and X94x – A Blue Color in Some Areas on the Printout

The printout exhibits a blue color in some images. The print quality page has a very light blue background which sometimes cannot be seen. See sample printouts below:




  • This issue includes the copy quality output as well.
  • All other prints – like a demo page and other internal pages, including printing from application and copying – exhibit a BLUE effect on selected pages.




Perform these steps below to fix the issue.

Check the printer supply levels (i.e., toner cartridge, imaging unit, maintenance kits) and replace if necessary.

Load a new, dry, supported media. Then re-print to see whether this issue persists.

Check the printer paper settings (i.e., paper size and type) and ensure that they match correctly to the paper loaded in the tray.
