Overview


An "Up to 15% of Toner has been saved while printing this PDF" message appears in the computer when printing pdf documents through Adobe Acrobat Reader. (See images below for a snapshot of the message.)


 

 

Problem description


This is an application setting and not from the driver, thus Adobe Acrobat provides the message. This setting tries to minimize ink/toner usage in the printer by multiple approaches that are covered under Adobe LeanPrint technology (e.g., reducing resolution, etc.).

This is NOT an issue with the printer.

If you need additional assistance, please go to the Lexmark support site, type your printer model and locate Get In Touch with Lexmark! for contact information. NOTE: When calling for support, you will need the following:

Printer model
Printer serial number
Toner/imaging unit/waste toner bottle part number and serial number (for supply-related issues)
