Issue description

When printing from the High Capacity Input Tray (HCIT), the printouts come out skewed. Observers say that the issue usually occurs right after the tray has been loaded with paper.

Possible cause

A number of possible causes might produce this issue. Here are a few of them:

  • Paper damage such as paper edge curled and dog ears
  • HCIT or 3000-sheet tray is not properly latched to the printer
  • Paper size loaded in the tray is incorrect
