A performance issue has been identified that may affect the number of devices discovered on the network.


Affected Products

MarkVision Enterprise versions 1.2 and older installed on any computer running Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows 2008 Server


Suggested Remedy

Update MarkVision Enterprise to Version 1.3 or greater.

  • 1 GB RAM
  • 2 GHz or faster CPU
  • 60 GB Hard Drive Capacity
  • Supported operating systems
    •   Windows x64 and x86 Editions
      • Windows Server 2003 R2
      • Windows XP
      • Window 7
      • Windows Server 2008
    • Virtualization
      • VMWare ESX 3.5 U5
      • VMWare vSphere 4 U1

NOTE: The latest Microsoft Service Packs and updates should be installed for your operating system.

Supported Web browsers

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.x and 8.x
  • Mozilla Firefox 3.x
  • Apple Safari 4.x

NOTE: Adobe Flash Player 10.0 is required to successfully launch the web-client. Since this application is not fully supported with 64-bit Web browsers, you will need to use a 32-bit Web browser to run the application.

Supported databases

  • Firebird
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008

NOTE: The application supports only the 32-bit versions and comes with a pre-configured Firebird database.
