Defect Symptom

Alignment issues appear on your printed product, such as halos, lines, voids, image shifts. See image below.

  1. Perform the "Color Adjust" procedure in the "Quality" menu.
  2. Print the "Demo Page" from the "Reports" menu. There should be a horizontal red line; if the line shows up as overlapping Yellow and Pink (Magenta) lines instead of a single red line, this is an alignment issue. 
  3. If the printer has an alignment issue that cannot be solved by the "Color Adjust" or by performing a manual alignment process, contact Lexmark Technical Support for other troubleshooting suggestions.
