Issue description

One side of the printed image is lighter than the other.

Recommended troubleshooting

  1. Remove the toner cartridge from the printer and shake it rigorously from side to side.
  2. Re-install the cartridge into the printer and print a test page.
  3. If the issue persists, check the toner level by printing the Menu Settings page. To do this, browse through: Menu> Reports> Menu Settings page.
  4. If the toner level is low, replace the cartridge. However, should the toner level still be sufficient or if the issue persists even with a new cartridge, contact Lexmark Technical Support to set up service for the printer.
