Print darkness and toner saver cannot be adjusted via Markvision Professional
Affected Products
This MVP behavior relates to the following products:
- -T64x Series Monochrome laser printers
- -X64x Series MFPs
- -X4600 scanner-equipped printers
- -X782 Series MFPs
- -X85x Series MFPs
- -X94x Series MFPs
Explanation
Print Darkness and Toner Saver are Read Only settings, as such, these settings cannot be adjusted via MVP. These settings will change in accordance to the dependent Toner Darkness setting.
| If Toner Darkness... | Then Print Darkness will range... | and Toner Saver... |
| equals < or equal to 5 | From Light to Lightest | Turns ON |
| > than 5 | From Normal to Darkest | Turns OFF |
How to change Toner Darkness
Three MVP paths are available for toner darkness adjustment:
- -MVP via All Tasks > Finishing/Quality > Adjust Setting > Apply.
- -MVP via Settings > Printer > Finishing/Quality > Adjust Setting > Apply.
- -MVP via Home > Launch Web page(print server) > Configuration > Print Settings > Quality > Toner Darkness > Submit.
