Restricted Server Options are not Available in MarkVision Enterprise 2.4.2

What you will see

Restricted server list options are not available in MVE 2.4.2.

This is confirmed by seeing an option for "list of restricted servers" but no options for these servers.

For example:

  1. Open Markvision.
  2. Create a new configuration or clone equipment.
  3. Click Edit Configuration – In Device Settings tab you will find the option list of restricted servers, but no Restricted Server List Options.




The latest version of MVE supports setting the following restricted server options: 


 Step  Action  Illustration
1 Download and install Markvision Enterprise 3.1, or later from Lexmark's Markvision website.  N.A.
2 After the initial setup is complete, open MVE.  N.A.
3 Go to Configurations tab > All Configurations and then select a printer model.  N.A.
4  Under Settings > Filter, type in "restricted".  
5  Go to the second page.  

 Place a checkmark next to enable Restricted Server List Options, and then select your values:


  • Block all ports
  • Block printing only
  • Block printing and HTTP only
