Fax recipient never receives a fax cover page. 

 

Environment

All 32 and 64-bit Microsoft™ Operating Systems

 

Any PostScript driver versions

Adobe products

First observed with Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.1.0 and  Acrobat Professional 8.1.7

The Fax card option is installed and the Driver Fax is enabled.

 

 

Fix

  1. Go to Printing Preferences.
  2. Select Other Options.
  3. Select More Options.
  4. Select Postscript.
  5. Select Disable Postscript Passthrough option.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Apply.

Additional Step:

  1. Click on the FAX tab within Preferences (Printing Preferences).
  2. Turn off  Always display settings prior to faxing.
  3. Click Ok.
