Overview

This article details the steps required to allow your network printer in COMODO Internet Security when COMODO prevents printer driver communication.

What you will see

You know that COMODO is preventing printer driver communication when:

  • -If you run the Lexmark Wireless Set-up Utility, it fails and displays the error: Connection Failed.

  • -The Lexmark Printer’s Mac and IP address is already in the DHCP client list of the router, but with an unknown name.

  • -The Lexmark Wi-Fi indicator light is lit green, but the network port cannot be created.

What you can do

When a Lexmark printer is configured for network connection, it automatically prints out the Network Configuration page that contains the printer's assigned IP address.
Please consult with the printer's User's Guide to have this page printed out.
Follow the below steps to allow your network printer in COMODO Internet Security:
