Overview


The MFP can print many types of internal pages without being connected to a computer or to a network. The most useful of these is the Menu Settings Page. This page, or set of pages, shows all the MFP's current user settings and code levels. This includes the page count, the amount of toner left in the cartridges, the paper settings on the various trays, what extra options are installed on the MFP, and the amount of RAM it has installed. The menu settings page is also useful as a reference for locating items in the printer menu system. 

 

 

Instructions for printing the Menu Settings Page


For Lexmark X543/4/6

Step Action
1 Press the  button until MFP displays Ready
2 Press the  button then press the arrow buttons until Reports is displayed. Then press the  button.
3 Press the arrow buttons until Menu Settings Page is displayed. Then press the  button.
4 After the Menu Settings Page prints, the MFP will return to the Ready state.

For Lexmark X548

Step Action
1 Make sure the MFP is powered on and in the Ready state.
2 On the MFP operator touch panel, press the  located in the lower right-hand corner. A set of menu options should appear.
3 Press the button next to Reports menu.
4 Another list of menus will then appear in the operator panel. Press the button next to Menu Settings Page. The message “Printing Menu Settings” will appear on the screen and the menu settings pages will print out. The printer then returns to the Ready state.
