Pressing the TEST button on the back of the the MarkNet N4050e print server initiates the printing of a network settings page. However, this settings page contains a PostScript language component that certain printers cannot print.
The IP Setup Utility will quickly find your printer/print server on the network and display the IP address. NOTE: Printers or print servers not on the same network segment will require an Advanced search.
The IP Setup Utility is found under Lexmark > Lexmark Wireless Print Server N4050e in your Programs menu list.![]()
NOTE: The default installation path of the IP Setup Utility is C:\Program Files\Lexmark\Lexmark N4050e\pssu.exe.

When to use:
-To find a printer/print server when an initial network scan fails to locate the print server; also for MAC address entry into the designated field. -To narrow or limit search results to one device in a multi-device environment; also for MAC address entry into the designated field. -To find a printer or print server on a different segment of the network (requires the Advanced search button using the subnet address and subnet mask, e.g. 192.168.0. and 255.255.255.0).
TCP/IP Settings (2)
When to use:
-To identify the highlighted print server's Model Type, MAC Address, and Hostname. -To identify the TCP/IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway Address. -To change the TCP/IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway Address.
Launch Web Page (3)
When to use:
-To launch the print server's web configuration page so as to allow additional print server or printer configuration setting changes.
