After changing the cartridge on your X215, you receive a fax that will not print.
The X215 cartridge has a fuse that is not blown on a new cartridge. When you insert a new cartridge into the X215, that fuse blows and lets the machine know that a new cartridge was installed. However, faxes will not be printed because the printer does not clear its memory at the same time.
You will need to 'tell' the X215 that a new cartridge has been installed so that the printer will clear its memory. Follow the instructions in the table.
Press #, 1, 9, 3, 4 to enter Tech Mode.
Press the arrow button until you see New Cartridge.
Press the checkmark key ().
Press #, 1, 9, 3, 4 to exit Tech Mode.
